Yan Ting Hee, BSc

Biography

Yan Ting obtained her BSc in Life Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS), with a specialisation in molecular cell biology. Her undergraduate and final year projects heavily centred around cancer biology, understanding molecular factors (e.g. microRNAs, interaction of epigenetics proteins) that contribute to cancer pathogenesis. Stumbling upon programming as an elective, she further developed an interest for computational methods for biology, going on to dabble in pipeline building in the biomarker diagnostics industry. She's now looking to develop further in systems biology, modelling and machine learning.
